Aadita is a researcher, writer, and arts practitioner committed to environmental education and ecological literacy. Her work bridges academic research and grassroots action, centering storytelling, embodied learning, and decolonial perspectives in both K-12 and adult learning spaces.
Her PhD from York University explored the intersections of race, coloniality, and environmental management through the lens of fire ecology. She serves on the steering committee for Environmental Education Ontario (EEON) and recently joined Green Thumbs Growing Kids, where she sits on the grants committee and is exploring ways to weave regenerative storytelling into community garden programming.
