Join our on-line forum - the lively EEONList!
If you'd like to join a virtual community of educators and others interested in the status and quality of Environmental and Sustainability Education (E&SE), we invite you to join us on-line on our listserv, the EEONlist. Our listserv features a wide diversity of frequent postings that offer courses, resources, events, conferences, programs, articles, books, questions, news, views, opinions and actions related to education and the environment. It also provides a forum for discussion and a place to share thoughts with and seek information and resources from members of EEON's many "audiences."
How to Subscribe to the EEONlist
It's easy to join the EEONlist. Just send a blank email message to eeonlist-subscribe@icomm.ca You will automatically begin to receive all messages posted. If you have colleagues or friends who are interested in advancing environmental literacy in Ontario, consider asking them to join as well. The listserv is designed to be a source of knowledge, new ideas and new thinking about the role of education in our changing world. You can help us to make this vital community grow.
How to Post [EEON] Messages
To post messages to the listserv, just email your message to eeonlist@icomm.ca. When posting, please preface your message title with [EEON] and clearly state the subject of your posting (e.g., [EEON] Recommended Resource: Teaching Sustainability, Grades 4-6). Clarity is important as our list gradually becomes busier. The [EEON] preface and your clear title allow busy readers to choose which messages are of most interest, and delete others quickly.
How to Unsubscribe
Should you wish to discontinue your subscription to the EEONlist, simply send a message to
eeonlist-unsubscribe@icomm.ca, and your name will automatically be deleted.
The EEONlist - A Vital Communication Link
When we founded Environmental Education Ontario in 2000, our overall goal was to advance and strengthen environmental and sustainability education
in Ontario. Over the years the EEON listserv has grown, and has become a respected source of communication and information amongst environmental educators
in the province, both those involved in formal education and those from EEON's many public sector "audiences."
The EEONlist is becoming a vrtual "place" for a growing community of thinkers about the role of education on a fragile planet. Together, we can grow the knowledge that we and future generations will need to live well and wisely within the recognized limits of our biospheric home.
We encourage you to join the EEONlist today!
