Andrew has a Master’s of Environmental Education and Communication from Royal Roads University and recently started his own ecoliteracy consulting business. His favourite things to do are playing outside with his daughter, and cooking up a tasty meal with some veggies from the garden.
Lara joined EEON in 2015. Her work has always touched the Education sector. In her current role as Sponsorship Manager for the Toronto Region Board of Trade, Lara assists corporate and educational partners in exciting and creative ways to advocate for the prosperity of the Toronto region.
A graduate of the University of Toronto, Lara has also worked in educational publishing, financial services, and the public sector. Her passion for environmental education is deepened by watching her son grow and learn about the world around him.
Vicky joined EEON in 2017 as treasurer. Her passion for environmental causes have led to involvement with Enactus (SIFE), ZooShare, WWF, and corporate environmental committees. Vicky has a B.Comm in accounting from the University of Toronto and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. In her spare time she likes to read, binge watch TV shows, and travel the world.”
Scotty joined the EEON board in 2017. He has led Waste Management efforts at the Guelph Multicultural and Hillside Festivals, and coaches softball for Special Olympics. A beneficiary of an international exchange program while at Western University, Scotty strongly believes in the ability to shape culture over time, through education.
Scotty currently works at the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change where he supports environmental grant programs that engage grassroots organizations and youth in protecting the Great Lakes and fighting climate change. Previously, he worked on the Local Food Fund at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. There, he gained further passion for sustainable agriculture and the connection between healthy land, healthy food and healthy communities.
